The 2020 morel season was a whirlwind. Cultivated morels started out fantastic in January and ended in late March. The blondes from Oregon were amazing but ended quickly in early April. So quickly we got stuck with to many orders. We tried to fill orders with Midwestern blondes but again we were slapped in the face with freezing temperatures that ruined most of the crop. We had to substitute really nice dark Oregon morels and refund some orders in May. Come June we found a reliable blonde supplier from the West who was able to supply large amounts for us....
